For auction is an Exakta Varex camera with a 14 blade Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm f/2.8.  Film advance and rewind are fine, as are the faster shutter speeds (1/1000-25) and B.  Slower shutter speeds are approximate.  Curtain is light-tight, pressure plate is good, and the mount is solid.  Eye-level prism is clear--just a few specks.  Leatherette is intact throughout, chrome trim is good; just some light scuffs.  The Tessar is excellent.  Glass is clear, with no fungus, scratches, or separation--you won't find one with appreciably clearer optics.  The 14 blades are clear and turn as they left the factory.  Focus is smooth.  Aluminum shows no gouges or scratches to speak of; just a bit of very faint oxidation.

Selling my Exakta collection.  Have not run film through the camera in two years--hence the price--but it looks, feels and responds just as I left it.  Ships with aftermarket front cap; no rear cap.  Also ships with an excellent waist-level finder (not pictured).  USPS Priority Mail.
