Kenwood Repair Kit with Genuine Original Type RIFA / EVOX Capacitors

Not suitable for the A901, A901P, A703 and Major A907, a kit for these models is available in my eBay shop (A901 listing).

Parts included in the kit:

1 x 8 Amp 600 Volt Triac

1 x 0.1uf   ( 100nf ) Evox Rifa X2 Safety Capacitor
1 x 0.15uf ( 150nf ) Evox Rifa X2 Safety Capacitor

1 x 56ohm Wirewound Resistor (uprated wattage rating to reduce overheating)

The capacitors may be marked in uF (micro-farads) or nF (nano-farads) depending on the age of the parts, 0.1uf = 100nf, 0.15uf = 150nf.

All parts are sourced from western suppliers, there are no cheap chinese parts in this kit.

Capacitors are X2 safety types, these fail open circuit in case of a fault and are rated for UK mains voltages.

These parts need to be swapped like for like with the original components.  Soldering skills required.
