Use the acrylic cones to create beautiful works of art – suitable for use on any paintable hard surface. Ideal for artists at all levels, including beginners.

HOW TO USE 🖌

- Cut the tip of the cone with sharp scissors. Using a blunt cutting tool will result in blotchy and uneven paint lines. Our recommendation is to begin by snipping approximately 1mm in size. This will ensure that the paint flow is thin and steady. 

- Apply pressure with your thumb and move the cone to create your designs. The more pressure you apply, the thicker and faster the paint will flow from the cone. Be sure to push the paint downwards towards the tip of the cone, and not back towards the top! 

- As you apply pressure, move your hand simultaneously. Forgetting to do so will result in different width of paint lines, making your designs look untidy. 

- The addition of gems will enhance your designs and provide that extra sparkle. Simply drop them on top of the paint to secure them in place - no other adhesive is required for this stage. 

AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS 📖

- Once complete the paint takes approximately 20-60 minutes to dry fully. You may seal the design with an adhesive suitable for the surface you have worked on. For example, designs on wax can be sealed with Mod Podge to offer an extra layer of protection. This stage isn’t necessary unless you intend to handle the item you’ve painted more than usual.

- When you’ve finished, seal the tip of the cone with a tiny piece of sellotape. This will stop the remainder of the paint drying out and you can save the rest for another day.

As with any form of art; practise makes progress - for beginners, we advise you practise a small design on a daily basis and you will notice a significant improvement in the way you use your cones and develop your technique. Start with straight line/grid designs before moving on to circular and mandala applications. Patience is key 👌🏻
