I AM NOT SELLING A KIT, only TWO new, full-size copies of the Berkeley .02 nostalgia free flight PROFILE POWERHOUSE kit PLAN to scratch build your own 24" and 30" wing span models.

The original kit called for a K & B Infant Torpedo .02 for power. And before that became available about 1950, the model called for an O.K. CO2 gas motor. Well, either way, neither motor had enough power to take this fine flying model up high enough to catch a thermal.

HERE ARE TWO SIZES: 24" & 30" SPANS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.

As a BONUS I include a very nice bio of Bill Effinger. Beyond designing this PROFILE POWERHOUSE, Effinger started Berkeley Models in 1933 and was an AMA founder.

Pop’s memories of flying: “For us kids in the 1950s, we loved getting our models back after a good flight and not having to chase them for a mile or more to get them back. One time I couldn't keep up with my lovely model drifting out of sight and just had my dad drive us home. I got in the house as the phone was ringing. It was a lady some 3-1/2 miles from our flying field who said my plane had just landed in her front yard. Oh, those were the days!!!”

“Very, very good printing. Liked being up-dated on order status. Plus article provided with plans was interesting.” Bill L. Geneseo, IL
