Six books on:

Bible as Literature, Interpretations
  1. The Literary Guide to the Bible, edited by Robert Alter and Frank Kermode
  2. Reading the Old Testament, an Introduction by Lawrence Boadt
  3. Literary Interpretations of Biblical Narratives, edited by Kenneth R.R. Gros Louis, et al
  4. Sacred Discontent - The Bible and Western Tradition by Herbert N. Schneidau
  5. The Great Code - The Bible and Literature by Northrop Frye
  6. The Cambridge Bible Commentary on the New English Bible - Introductory Volume: Understanding the Old Testament edited by O. Jessie Lace
Notes: One hardcover in excellent condition, five softcovers. Literary Interpretations has the most notable wear - outer scuffing, some notes/underlining scattered throughout, binding creased/lies flat in a few places (it seems too appropriate of a book to leave out of this lot!) - but is still a very readable copy. Otherwise books very light to minimal general shelf wear.
