zwei Elektrolytkondensatoren mit 2x 50 µF und 500 V in einem Gehäuse
untergebracht und der Minuspol beider Kondensatoren wurde zusammen auf
einen Anschluss gelegt. Durch die hohe Spannungsfestigkeit ist er
geschaffen für Röhrenverstärker, wo immer hohe Spannungen anliegen. Die
Bauform ist identisch mit den Kondensatoren der alten Marshall, Hiwatt
und Orange Modelle, so dass die Optik erhalten bleibt wenn man den Amp
restaurieren will und die Kondensatoren ersetzen muss. Die
Endstufenröhren produzieren viel Wärme. Das führt zum Austrocknen der
Kondensatoren. Man sollte die Kondensatoren also rechtzeitig ersetzen,
denn sonst kann ein defekter Kondensator noch viel größere Defekte in
einem Röhrenverstärker verursachen, so dass die Reparatur noch viel
teurer wird oder sich gar nicht mehr lohnt.
