Vector Tuning Multi Channel Tuning Module

The Vector Tuning Module is designed for all types of engines and can manage multiple sensors simultaneously. A special feature of this model is the keypad with which you can choose up to 4 different strengths programs - Economy, Sport, Power, Standard.

The Tuning Module is pre-loaded with following programs:

1)       POWER – Enables you the maximum performance in terms of power and torque.

2)      SPORT – Program optimized for best agility with slightly less power and torque.

3)      ECONOMY – Programed for lower fuel consumption due to increased engine torque.

4)      STANDARD – Using this mode you will use the vehicle factory setting, like there is no Tuning Module installed.

The 3 active Operating Program Modes (Power, Sport and Economy) also have a further 7 fine tuning levels.

Specially designed vehicle specific software to suit your vehicle’s engine is pre loaded into the Tuning Module prior to shipping which enables more acceleration, greater engine power, more driving dynamics, and reduces fuel consumption depending on your driving mode. The Vector Tuning module does not change, override or alter any of the original factory’s ECU data or safety parameters making the whole process totally safe. Once removed your vehicle will revert to its original state leaving no trace the system was ever installed.

HOW DOES PERFORMANCE TUNING WORK?

Simply expressed, the output increase is achieved by adjusting the quantity of fuel-air mixture and the ignition timing. In this process the injectors play a major role, they control the amount, timing and fuel injection pressure. The Vector Tuning Module is connected to the vehicles engine’s sensors, using a specially made wiring harness that is supplied with the module. This allows the Vector tuning modules to read engine data before it gets to the vehicles ECU. Data is then processed and optimized through Vector module's own microprocessor and then sends the modified data to vehicle's Electronic control unit (ECU) to be processed safely within the vehicles own factory set safety parameters.

WHY SHOULD THE Tuning Module sometimes ALSO BE further fine TUNED FOR EACH VEHICLE?

It's known in practice that there are minor deviations in technical features of the same vehicles depending on their maintenance, mileage, fuel quality and the method and type of use. For these reasons, sometimes the default setting of the Vector modules can't achieve the greatest possible improvement in engine performance and might need slight adjustments once fitted.

By adjusting, the default settings your system was supplied to you on, you can further fine tune the system to obtain the best results to suit your vehicle and your driving requirements.

WILL THE CAR HAVE A SHORTER SERVICE LIFE AFTER THE ALTERATION?

With tuning, the increase of the engine power is achieved by optimizing the engine and by staying within the tolerances of different components of the engine, while at the same time not exceeding the limits of engine operation. According to previous experiences, the range of diesel and petrol engine efficiency can go up to 60% of the initial value. For normal use of the vehicle, regular oil changes and regular service, engine life is not reduced. Only if you drive in constant 'sports' style, you will have to change car oil more frequently than recommended by your vehicle manufactures recommendations.

WHY DOESN’T THE MANUFACTURER JUST SET THE VEHICLE TO THE OPTIMAL VALUE?

The manufacturer is building a car for the global market, which must meet various requirements. This is primarily related to the weather conditions, fuel quality and the method of use of the vehicles in question.

ARE THERE ANY PARTICULARITIES FOR AN AUTOMATIC VEHICLE?

Vehicles with automatic transmission will automatically be adjusted to the new conditions by feed back from various sensors within its own systems.

Questions:

Is the Vector-Tuning module better than a serial port ECU remap?
Yes. Our systems can be self installed, easily adjusted, removed, and transferred and unlike a remap they cannot be detected or deleted during routine servicing. If you change vehicles your system can usually be reconfigured to suit your new vehicle.

Does our tuning system really make a difference?
Yes. An immediate increase in both torque and power is noticeable with the Vector-Tuning system fitted. You will appreciate the improved throttle response and overall driveability.

What will I receive in your Vector Tuning order?
All our systems come in padded packaging to prevent transit damage. You will receive the correct, fully adjusted, tuning box for your vehicle along with the wiring loom to suit your vehicle. The package also contains full English installation instructions, including colour pictures of your vehicle’s engine, and cable ties for that professional look. Some additional items might be included depending on the vehicle application.

Defective Item:
If a unit is found to be faulty within the first 30 days of purchase a new unit will be issued or a full refund minus postage costs will be given.

Incorrect Item:
If we send you an incorrect item please let us know within 7 days and we can arrange for the correct item to be sent out to you.

We will leave positive feedback for you as soon as we know you're happy with your purchase and have left feedback showing this. If you have any concerns, please contact us before leaving feedback and we'll be pleased to assist you.

Satisfaction Policy:
If within the first 30 days you decide not to keep the tuning system please contact us for a returns form. We do not charge a re-stocking fee but we will deduct the postage costs we have incurred in posting the system to you. Goods must be returned in the same condition, and complete, as received to avoid only a partial refund being issued. When returning goods only use parcel carriers who are able to track products when in transit (i.e. Express Post or Registered Post Delivery) as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.

Terms and Conditions of the Sale

Once the Vector Tuning Australia supplied system has been installed in your vehicle the driver is ultimately responsible for the increased power, torque and speed acquired.

By installing this product, the customer understands and agrees that as a performance enhancing product, individual results may vary depending on make, model, and usage.

The customer also understands that the original vehicle manufacturer makes its own determinations regarding the effects of add-on products and/or service to its warranties. Vector Tuning Australia shall in no way be held responsible nor liable for anything pertaining to or resulting from the original vehicle manufacturers warranty and/or terms of use.

While fuel savings are common with our systems, they do depend on your individual driving style and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

The buyer acknowledges and agrees that the disclaimer of any liability for property damage or personal injury is a material term for this agreement and the buyer agrees to indemnify the seller and to hold the seller harmless from any claim related to the item of the equipment or service purchased.

Vector Tuning Australia assumes no liability regarding the improper installation or misapplication of its products and/or services. It is the installer’s responsibility to check for proper installation and if in doubt our Technical Department is to be contacted.

It is your responsibility to advise your insurance company of this modification. This modification may affect your premium, so we would advise that you contact your insurance company before you carry out the installation so that you are fully aware of any additional cost you may incur.
