Chevron Trade Bead

The Chevron was a highly sought after bead in the World Bead Trade. 

The old beads can be found today on many continents. The bead was

made the drawn method. The rough cut beads were then ground

to shape and finished. This pattern of bead was first produced

in the 1400's as a 7 layer bead. Later the 6 and 4 layer beads were

made. Large size 28mm diameter by 20mm wide.
