Rare vintage Hammersley English bone china footed cup and saucer .. "Severn Rose". Entirely and beautifully hand painted (no transfer), featuring huge full-blown pink roses, leaves, and rose-buds.  Artist signed "F Howard".  The cup is apx 4" diameter (not including the handle); the saucer is apx 5 7/8" diameter. Marked "Hand Painted .. Severn Rose .. Bone China by Hammersley .. Made in England", with a crown and acorn logo, in red. Very good condition ~ no chips or damage. Enlarge photos for detail.
