Description
For your consideration is a delicately styled, solid 14k yellow gold natural diamond engagement ring, circa 1960 - 1970. This ring has a pretty setting, with the center diamond as the focal point, and two side diamonds set in little "leaves" on an angle, on each side. I have shown this ring with a diamond wedding band just to give an idea of what it would look like with another ring. WEDDING BAND IS NOT INCLUDED.
The center diamond measures 3.85 mm and is approximately .21 ct in size. The side diamonds are .02 and .015 ct respectively on each side, which add an additional .07 ct, bringing total diamond weight to about .28 ctw. The diamonds are graded as H color and SI1 clarity, by our experienced estate jeweler.
This lovely vintage diamond engagement ring is hallmarked 14kP (P for "Plumb Gold", a vintage gold term meaning solid 14k, no more and no less). The head sits up about 1/4" off the finger, and the diamonds span about 1/2" across. The ring weighs 1.7 grams, is a size 5.75, and is in excellent pre-owned condition.
