Clitheroe - Taylor Street Flood 6x4 photograph.

If you lived in Clitheroe around Taylor Street and the surrounding areas throughout the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's you would be used to the street flooding when the heavy rain came! Mearley Brook could not handle any amount of rain and Taylor Street always seemed to get the brunt of it. All the house were fitted with flood barriers (Not great but okay) and you always had sandbags at the ready!
