Please note I am not and expert in selling vintage items, just a lover of them and I know how hard it is to find true vintage for us plus sized women so whenever I find it, I buy it. This coat has been in my closet for years, but I never wore it so it needs a new home. It has beautiful stitched detail around the collar, and side pockets. The inside lining is in excellent condition with no tears. There is a small amount of wear to edges of the sleeve and pockets which is a lightening of the fabric more than actual wear.
Based on my research of the union tag, I believe this coat was made between 1958 and 1963. There are no other tags other than the union tag so I don't have a size or material. I do believe this is a polyester type fabric. I am currently a size 16 and this coat is roomy on me so I would label it a 16/18 possibly a 20 if left open . I have listed measurements below so please read them carefully and feel free to reach out if any additional information is needed.
Measurements are taken in inches with the coat lying flat and buttoned:
Overall length: 43
Sleeve length from seam: 23.5 (Please note this is a 3/4 sleeve coat)
Chest: 25
Waist: 26.5 (taken across the middle of the pockets)
Collar is approx 5.5 inches wide
