Thermocouple K – Type consists of two wire legs made from dissimilar metals (Nickel-Chromium / Nickel-Alumel) which are fixed together at end creating a junction.  

The type K is the most common type of thermocouple. It's inexpensive, accurate, reliable, and has a wide temperature range.

This thermocouple can be used with analog pyrometers it is also used in conjunction with digital oven controllers such as the Paragon TNFII, Memco, Kilminders and more…

The thermocouple wire length of 15 Feet allows the the controller or analog pyrometer to be placed a good distance from the furnace.
