We are offering for sale this pen and ink on paper artwork by Hugh Morren entitled Original Cartoon Strip Oddsy, The Sun.

This is one of a large collection we have obtained from the estate of the renowned cartoonist Hugh Morren (1921-1995). Obtained directly from his widow these original artworks are all in original condition and show years of his work. In total, the collection shows over 1000 original artworks by Hugh Morren which we will be offering over the coming months. Because of the size of the collection we are pricing them to sell reasonably fast. Most are pen and ink on card or paper. Some also show pencil sketches on the reverse. The collection shows some familar cartoon characters over the year, including workshy Tommy Wack Published in the Daily Express and later in The Sun and gambling addicted Oddsy published in The Sun. The single page cartoons tend to be signed with his known aliases such as Hug, or Shug while most of the comic strips tend to be unsigned. As with all our art we guarantee originality and authenticity.
