This is a large Victorian secretaire bookcase comprising a top section with a 2 door glazed bookcase with 4 shelves and a lower cupboard section with a pull out bureau drawer section with a leather writing desk. Also enclosing a storage area with five useful pigeon holes and six drawers fitted with dainty brass drop handles. All in all it gives an enormous and useful storage solution - a complete home office in one beautiful antique cupboard!
The top glazed bookcase cupboard and the lower 2 door cupboard are fitted with working locks and keys.
It is all in excellent condition considering its age of over 100 years, there are of course signs of repairs and minor knocks and blemishes over this time but nothing obtrusive and they only serve to add to its character and sense of history.
