For your consideration today we are pleased to offer a fantastic art print of the 1966 BRE Hino Contessa  (19"x13")

***AUTOGRAPHED BY PETER BROCK - FOUNDER OF BROCK RACING ENTERPRISES***

Peter Brock left Shelby American at the end of 1965 to form his own company, Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE). The first thing Brock wanted to do was get back into the driver's seat. What started as a small club racing project for a friend in Japan ended up determining the life and direction of BRE for several years. When Peter Brock took on the construction of a tiny 1000cc sedan made by an obscure (and at that time never heard of in the US) truck and bus manufacturer in Japan, called Hino, it sparked some interest in the factory, which a year later contracted the construction of two more racers; this time larger and faster.

When in 1966, Brock won the Mission Bell 100, a support race to the Internationally renown Riverside Grand Prix, Brock became a hero in Japan. Ultimately this success would lead to his relationship with Nissan and racing the now famous BRE Datsuns.

Famed Japanese artist Telly Sahara captures that fateful Hino Contessa race car in this beautifully detailed art. In the red circle is an image from the Mission Bell race showing Brock in the lead, followed by a Mini Cooper, which looks like a large car compared to the Hino!

A sign of things to come can be seen on the front fender of the car with the logo "Team Samurai". Already at this time Brock had dreams of designing a GT car for Hino, the BRE Hino Samurai would soon follow.

Printed on brilliant white, high quality, high cotton content heavy paper stock this piece of art will grab your attention no matter where you place it.
