Asbestos is NOT mentioned in this catalog. However it is common knowledge that American Brakeblok (ABB) brake linings contained asbestos during this time period. In fact brake linings and disc pads made before the 1990's commonly contain asbestos, a known carcinogen that cause mesothelioma, asbestosis and lung cancer. Mechanics should be aware when repairing or rebuilding older model cars and to prevent dangerous exposure to asbestos.

Book Condition:
The book is in GOOD condition!! The book has normal wear from use. There are no locations of writing, underlining or highlighting of the text that I could find from a cursory review. Binding is intact with no missing pages. The pages have browning due to age. It's still a good used book with plenty of life left in it!!
