Description : A makeup train case *USED by Greta Garbo. Brown tweed with brown leather trim. Stickers affixed
to exterior and interior. Two of the stickers have Garbo's typed information. The first is for the N.Y.K Line and
reads "Mdm. Greta Garbo U.S.A/ Destination Imperial Hotel/ S.S Kamakura Maru/ Stateroom No. Ito Suite".
The second is from Norddeutscher Lloyd and reads " Name Miss Greta Garbo/ Steamer S.S Europa/ Sailing Date
Mai, 1938/ Port of departure New York/ Port of Destination Breman Germany." (Notice Bremen misspelled).
Other vintage stickers include Imperial Hotel, Tokyo; Kauai; Hotel Victoria, New York; Savoy Florence;
Grosvernor Hotel, London; Louxor Water Palace; Egypt; The Beverly Hills Hotel and more. Mirror on interior top of case.
Two-latch closure. The case was purchased at a Los Angeles area thrift store. Please Note: This item does not come
