Boletus yellow-brown Leccinum versipelle (Leccinum testaceoscabrum) is a mushroom of the genus Leccinum of the Boletaceae family.

The cap is hemispherical, then cushion-shaped, with a diameter of 5-15 cm, sometimes up to 25 cm. The skin is dry, slightly woolly, orange-yellow or yellow-brown in color, in young mushrooms it often hangs from the edge of the cap.
The pulp is white, dense, at the cut it first turns pink, then turns blue, to a violet-black color, in the leg it becomes blue-green.
The tubular layer is notched, 1-1.5 cm thick, from light gray to olive gray. The pores are small, angular-rounded, gray in young mushrooms, then light brown, often with a brownish or olive tint.
The leg is 8-22 cm high and 2-4 cm thick, sometimes up to 7 cm, stocky, often thickened at the bottom. The surface is white or grayish, covered with small dense granular scales, first brown and then black.

Boletus (Osinovik) is a common name for several types of mushrooms of the genus Lektsinum (Obabok), lat. Leccinum. They are distinguished by an orange-red (sometimes white) cap and a blue discoloration of the mushroom flesh on the cut. They also differ from brown birch trees, usually in a thicker, "stocky" leg and a dense flesh of the cap.
The name "aspen" is associated not only with the characteristic place of growth of these mushrooms, but also with the color of the caps, reminiscent of the autumn color of aspen leaves.
Since all aspen mushrooms are edible and practically the same in nutritional quality, mushroom pickers do not always distinguish between their types. However, for mushroom hunting, it is useful to know the ecological characteristics of different species. Aspen mushrooms can be grown independently on personal plots, as well as on mushroom farms, both for domestic consumption and in large quantities for sale and / or for further conservation (both for domestic and commercial purposes). The mycelium produced by our laboratories has excellent germination and is adapted for growing mushrooms under trees and shrubs of various species.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR GROWING FOREST MUSHROOMS
They are planted in gardens, parks, forests, nurseries, greenhouses, flower beds, lawns, etc.
1 package of mycelium is intended for planting under 1 tree on an area of 0.5 m2, or together with one seedling, or under shrubs on an area of 0.5 m2.
Fluff the ground under the tree so that a depression of 5-15 cm is formed, depending on the location of the roots at the soil surface.
Spread the mycelium evenly over the entire fluffed surface.
Cover with garden (or forest) soil, mixed with any humus, in equal parts.
Sprinkle on top with the soil that was formed during fluffing with a depression.
Planting can be done at any time of the year and under any tree species.
Watering is carried out in dry times, often with a garden watering can or in another way, about 10 liters per 1 m2.
Mushrooms appear in spring and autumn, but for the first time not earlier than 5 months after planting. Sometimes the first harvest may only be the next year.
The first harvest is 350-500g / m2, the next ones are 3.5-4.5kg / m2.
Mycelium grows for many years, while the tree lives.
You can also plant mycorrhizal forest mushrooms along with tree seedlings. Spread mycelium, for example, aspen mushrooms, or any others, evenly over the bottom of the hole prepared for planting a seedling, and then continue planting plants as usual.

It is recommended to grow a chanterelle next to any forest mushrooms! Chanterelle is widely used both in folk medicine and in traditional official pharmacology. This mushroom contains many substances that not only determine its medicinal properties, but also actively fight against fungal diseases, harmful molds that interfere with the normal development of mycelium, mushroom worms, etc. Chanterelles themselves almost never worm themselves (there is one type of worms that eat them, but personally I have never seen them) and nearby mushrooms growing can grow to gigantic sizes without worming either. The chanterelle mushroom, as it were, “prepares” a place for the development of the mycelium of the titular fungus, and then zealously “takes care of” it for many years. Next to the chanterelles, porcini mushrooms, boletus mushrooms, aspen mushrooms, Polish mushrooms, boletus mushrooms, as well as everyone else, feel great!
