WWI era DH-1 biplane with paint scheme of USMC Marine Observation Squadron One (VO-1M).

Original photograph dating from the late 1960s. The photographer was from So. Calif. and shot many aircraft at the Tallmantz Movieland of the Air Museum in Orange County, California. The Movieland of the Air Museum opened at Orange County Airport in Southern California on December 14, 1963. It was the culmination of a dream held by veteran movie pilots Paul Mantz and Frank Tallman.
