This listing is for a high quality vintage natural honey coloured, satin lined Mink fur 3/4 length coat.
Very heavy and beautifully made.
I am not an expert in fur coats at all, in fact i have never sold one but this does look superb quality.
It is embroidered on the inside with MM. At first glance you would think it was WW because of the way round it is but it actually stands for the American firm Millers Furs who have been going since the 1920's and they embroidered some of their jackets MM.
It is slightly too large for my girlfriend and she normally wears a 10 so i think it would be a 14 perhaps
It measures armpit - armpit about 50cm and it is 120cm in length.
A few small areas of damage to the satin lining along the bottom and the stitching has come away under one of the arms.(See Images)
Quite a strong smell of perfume to it as well so it will need professional cleaning.
Otherwise it's in superb condition.
Leather covered buttons which attach via an elastic thread that runs the length. there's also elastic thread that runs along the neck. I guess there must have been a hood or stole that would have attached.
Very stylish and obviously being vintage and old, it does not support the fur trade.
