The finest Victorian English Sterling Silver Card Case or Wallet that I have seen. Also one of the more unusual with a unique fitted interior as seen, with many little folders. The Case is deeply etched with incredible complex designs to the front and reverse, a luxury item for certain. The case is also Hallmarked on both sides for the fine Period Silversmiths David & Lionel Spiers, Birmingham England, Sterling Silver and the date letter for 1882.

Condition : really amazing condition as seen with minor signs of use consistent with the antique age. Very ornate original owner's monogram, possibly J.M.K.C. Interior is also in excellent condition with a few minor rips and stains. Opens and snaps shut perfectly on a strong sturdy hinge.

Size & Weight : nice size for display and will also hold modern debit, credit card, and cash. It measure so approx 3-3/4 inches long by 3 inches wide and 1/2 of an inch thick. Has a quality weight of 85 grams.
