This model of Half Dome was designed using USGS topographical map data to get an accurate height map.
Since it is a 3D print, the layering of the plastic creates natural lines that mimic the look and feel of a topographic map. It is perfect as is but can also be painted to add more character and detail. A primer is recommended if you plan to paint the model.

White - Recommended if you want to paint the model.
Gray - Really shows off the detail.
Gold - Shinier and a bit reflective. A nice trophy feel.
