Cats (& Other Crazy Cuddlies) Hardback Book Written by Children, Edited by Richard and Helen Exley
FREE POSTAGE WITHIN THE U.K.
An absolutely delightful, illustrated, colourful book written by children for children on the subject of cats - kids who are pet lovers really enjoy it
It is over 30 years old now, although it looks rather like new, so it is officially ‘vintage’
Now out of print so this book a real find, especially one in such lovely condition
First produced in 1978 - This copy for sale is the 4th edition from 1990
Makes an ideal gift for children who have pet cats or those who simply just love felines
Excellent, clean condition from a smoke free home - I have cleaned the cover and spine with antibacterial wipes for your peace of mind when buying a used item
The only small flaw, which I can see, is that the spine colour is a little bit faded compared to the cover, and there is a very small scuff to the top of the spine - very minor indeed for a book that is over 30 years old
It has been very well looked after - my child was not allowed to have it unsupervised as it is so precious and needs to be kept that way
Looks lovely on display in a cat / pet / animal lovers’ bedroom
A tiny bit smaller than A5 size
Glossy hardback covers with 64 clean, colourful, intact pages inside - no tears, rips, marks, scribbling, names, or writing
The first photo is a stock photo. The rest are of the actual book you will receive.
PS I couldn’t help but include pic 12! My cat Betty jumped into the bath to have a nosey at what I was doing (taking photos of this book on the tiles). Cheeky, nosey kitty!
Cats (and other crazy cuddlies). Hardback book published in 1990, written by children for pet lovers everywhere, edited by Richard and Helen Exley. This is a compilation of illustrations plus poems, one liners and prose written by children.
All the entries in Cats and other crazy cuddlies are the genuine work of children - and this is true of the illustrations as well as the words. Children were simply asked to describe life with their pets, and what their pets meant to them; this is the loving and sometimes hilarious result. Spelling has been left uncorrected to retain the freshness of the child's original entry.
