These premium quality cabinet doors are precision crafted from solid American Red Oak.  This popular classic design features 2¼ inch wide by 13/16 inch thick frames of solid oak. The solid oak raised center panel is 5/8" thick and inset on both front and back.  Both frames and panel are handsomly detailed. There's no extra charge for this, and it won't delay production of your order.  Your doors are sanded to a 220 grit finish at the factory and don't require any additional sanding prior to finishing.  Oak cabinetry is prized for its beautiful grain and durability, and is typically stained. If you plan on painting your cabinet doors, we recommend purchasing either Soft Maple (finely grained solid hardwood) or MDF (low cost, paint-grade) doors. Every order includes detailed finishing instructions for the home handyman. If you're a complete novice, you may want to consider hiring a professional to finish your cabinet doors for you.
