Shuttle Spindle and Dyepot - 107 magazines - 1971 to 2002

Funky Christmas /Everyday Funky

These magazines etc. come from my father-in-law's estate. We have an entire weaving and yarn shop inventory to sell that was filled to the brim.

These were found in a locked glass bookcase in my father-in-law's yarn shop.  Like new; almost perfect.  For the most part, these are in excellent condition.  Occasionally, a corner was bent, or the cover has a minor tear.  At least half of these were inside manila magazine holders and hadn't been touched in years.  As you can see, we have duplicates of many of these issues and it became impossible to figure out individually what imperfections, if any, each had.  If there is a problem with any magazine specific, IE, more than a minor tear or corner bend, I will contact you for you to decide if you still want it.  Thumbing through we find the pages are sharp and clean.  No marks or highlighting in text.  Cover lies flat.  Some color photographs.  Illustrated, collectible,1st editions.

We are not sure how this is going to work.  If you want multiple, will eBay let you say '5'?

If that doesn't work, buy each individually, and we will refund all the extra shipping costs.  This is not about making money on shipping....it's about finding homes for all his possessions.  WE AUTOMATICALLY combine shipping to save you money.

You must tell me which issue/issues you want by message.  Unfortunately, I have, on another listing, found somebody buys 1, and doesn't tell me which issue he wanted.  You must tell me which one you want ASAP.  If the others sell before you tell me, and THAT person tells me, he gets the book and I will refund your money ASAP.  Sorry, but it's the only way I could figure out how to be fair.

Also, I think it might be cheaper to send these in manila envelopes.  If you are NOT buying these as a collector, and DO NOT need them sent between sheets of cardboard, message me, and I will send it in an envelope and refund you the difference between what it cost, and what you paid here.  Regular mail does not come with tracking, or insurance, so please decide what is best for your needs.  If you are a collector, and need this to complete your collection, please pay for insurance.  I had one shipment disappear the the USPS is STILL looking for it.

Please see the pictures above.  We tried to put the 'worst' issue on top if there were multiples.  The list of each magazine and info on Volume and No are after the rest of this information blurb.

Pictures of Winter 1984 on through 2002 are available by request in messenger.

Note: Right now, we are pricing things to MOVE, just to get them out of the house, so we can move more bulky items in their place.  We are running out of room. Please consider searching golem451, in the upper right corner of this page, to see what other items we have that are priced to move, and to see if you might want to buy something to add to your collection while saving $$$ on shipping. Thank you for your consideration.

Shipping – All books are shipped on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday on the first day possible after payment is received around 8 to 9 AM. They are shipped by Media Mail in heavy brown paper, similar to a grocery paper bag.  All wrapping and shipping materials are recycled from the cardboard to bubble wrap to 50 year old envelopes. We always refund shipping credit if you buy multiple items.  Free local pick up.  We refund your shipping charges!

Why Funky Christmas? Because if you need something special, we probably have it, from yarn and weaving, to paintings and numbered prints, to cute tchotchkes, we probably have it in this estate.  Most would be excellent gifts during the holiday season.

We also have hundreds of antique and vintage art books about indigenous cultures, vintage coloring books, silversmithing, embroidery, weaving, and photography, Great Masters, and so many other art subjects that we can’t list them all here. With the Holidays coming, if you want something unique and special for that someone special, please email us and we will send you a list of any subject that you want to look through.

If you or your weaver-friends are local to Ann Arbor, or the Detroit area, please contact us if you need shelving or any business display cases.  We also have tons of office supplies like envelopes, receipts,  paperclips and more rulers than we know what to do with. If it’s an office supply, we probably have it.

Please help us recycle his lovingly cared for curios in an environmentally friendly manner.
