Large double window date display located at the top of the dial with quick correction button located on the case edge at the 10 o'clock position. Power reserve indicator: small AUF/AB (Up/Down) power reserve indicator located just above the 6 o'clock position with a polished rose gold triangle hand. A. Lange & Sohne Caliber L951.6, beats at 18,000 vph, composed out of 451 parts, contains 46 Jewels & has an approximate power reserve of 60 hours. Each part & component of this movement has been meticulously & lavishly finished with extremely detailed handwork. The movement is mesmerizing & beautiful!

This is an 18k rose gold A. Lange & Sohne Datograph Up/Down Flyback 405.031. It has an alligator strap with an 18k rose gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The exhibition sapphire case back is secured with 6 screws, and there is a rose gold screwed-down fluted winding crown. The 41mm diameter solid case, curved lugs, and flat bezel are polished and brushed, and it has rectangular chronometer pushbuttons. The minute hand of the chronograph jumps in 1-minute increments rather than moving continuously, allowing for a more accurate measuring of the Flyback/Timing function. The Flyback complication instantly restarts the chronograph with a single push of the button – it isn't necessary to stop, reset, and restart the stop-watch. There is a large double window date display at 12 o'clock, with a rectangular quick correction button located on the case edge at the 10 o'clock position. The dial is black with luminous inserts in the sword hands, polished applied baton and dot index hour markers, and a large polished central seconds hand. There is a white printed minute, seconds, and fractions of a second chapter ring, and a perimeter Tachymeter ring. There is a small seconds sub dial at 8 o'clock, a 30-minute totalizer sub dial is at the 4 o'clock position, and a small Up-Down (AUF/AB) power reserve indicator is at 6 o'clock. It comes with the COSC Swiss Chronometer certification, it has a 60-hour power reserve, and it's water-resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This A. Lange & Sohne Datograph Up/Down Flyback 405.031 has a mechanical manually winding A. Lange & Sohne caliber L 951.6 movement that's rhodium-plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 46 jewels, 451 components, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (3 Hz).

The A. Lange & Sohne Datograph is the world's first chronograph, combining the classic column-wheel principle with flyback, jumping minute counter, and patented outsize date. Manually wound, and featuring Langes Calibre 951.6 movement, the wearer of an A. Lange & Sohne Datograph can be sure they are wearing not just one of the world's most beautiful timepieces, but also one of the most reliable and accurate.

As one of the oldest watchmaking companies in the world, A. Lange and Sohne luxury watches have a strong history of innovation and precision.

For French writer and Nobel laureate André Gide, grey was the color of truth, which might be due to its counterbalancing effect and the seductive radiance of this hue. In the DATOGRAPH PERPETUAL, the juxtaposition of a platinum case and a silver Rhodium dial accommodates both of these aspects. Since 2006, its name has been a synonym for the ingenious combination of a flyback chronograph and a perpetual calendar. With three highly elaborate, technically advanced mechanisms, it fully lives up to the task of precise short-time measurements: The column-wheel concept assures dependable control of all chronograph functions, the jumping minute counter always delivers distinct legibility of stopped times and the flyback system makes it possible to accurately measure the durations of events in quick succession.

With its Lange outsize date, day of week, month and leap year indications, the perpetual calendar is so precise that it requires no adjustment until the year 2100, when a one-day correction is needed. All calendar displays can be advanced simultaneously with a convenient rapid-correction pusher. Additionally, three recessed correctors allow the displays to be adjusted separately.

The silver Rhodium hue of the dial clearly emphasizes the displays and prominently showcases the deep blue lunar disc with its golden stars. Baton hour markers as well as hour and minute hands in rhodiumed gold highlight the rich-contrast design that was first introduced with the 2010 launch of the pink-gold version. The chronograph hand indicates the stopped time to one-fifth of a second. It is made of blued steel. The same material was chosen for the minute counter and seconds hands, allowing them to stand out prominently against the bright rhodié background of the subsidiary dials. With its movement consisting of 556 lavishly finished parts, it delivers fresh proof of the Saxon manufactory’s virtuosity in the realm of horological complications.

Once again, Lange has harmoniously combined rare beauty and genuine functionality.
