The surprising thing is the shutter is actually working! And by that we mean the blades close and they re-open for the actual exposure. 

Just about all the Bessamatics we have gotten over the decades will close the shutter but won't run the actual exposure, as in it may sound like its 'working' but it isn't. 

However we are selling this as-is because there's no telling how long the shutter will stay working. The camera will be shipped with the shutter un-cocked and set at 1 second and f22. We only guarantee it will fire correctly one time...past that you're on borrowed time. Sold as-is, no return unless it won't fire correctly once. 

Unfortunately the meter does not seem to be working so a hand held meter or guessing exposure is required. 

The lens glass is good, very clear, no obvious issues. Not sure about the aperture though, looks like it may not be wide open when cocked and may not be stopping down all the way past f8 or so.
