Our new improved design Auto Syphon is available supplied either with a throttle clamp for the PVC tubing or with a bottling stock in both 4.5 litre and 23 litre sizes.
The 4.5 litre Auto Syphons are perfect for syphoning liquid from a demi john, or moving similar small quantities of liquid. The 23 litre Auto Syphons are perfect for syphoning liquid from a large brewing buckets into bottles or a barrel.
It has a one way pump action vale, so that a few brisk strokes self-primes the syphon and gets your beer/wine moving into the bottles or barrel. To use, first sterilise the Auto Syphon. Then simply drop the end into the beer or wine, pump briskly a couple of times and the liquid is drawn into the tube ready for syphoning. No sucking (and possible inhaling) of liquid required!
all versions are supplied with a bucket clip to hold the syphon in place and the bottling stick which fits onto the end of the PVC tube is perfect for bottling your brew so that the flow can be regulated as needed to make it easier to bottle your beer ot wine. Simply insert the bottling stick all the way into a bottle so that the pin in the bottom of the stick is pressed lightly against the bottom of the bottle. The brew will flow and fill the bottle. Raising the bottling stick away from the bottom of the bottle will result in the flow automatically stopping. Ideally this should be used over a drip tray as, inevitably with this sort of product, small drips will occur.
If you are barrelling rather than bottling or doign a mixture you may prefer the throttle clamp version to control the flow.
