Little Country Church of Hollywood at 1750 N. Argyle Ave was built as an actual reproduction of a country church from the late 1800's. It was located in a beautiful park-like setting on a hill in the center of Hollywood, one block from the famed corner of Hollywood and Vine. It was formally dedicated April 15, 1934. Destroyed by fire on Christmas Eve, 2007.

Original & historic, large format, film negative. From a recovered archive of an old Los Angeles RPPC photo postcard manufacturer. Images in this collection date from the 1920s to the early 1950s. Please look for the other historic and early California images I'm listing.
