From Arc Reclamation.

A very large, substantial and handsome pair of reclaimed painted pine internal room dividers. The four panel doors are very heavy and well made with mortise and tenon joints and are likely to date to the early 20th Century. The doors have a very nice period appearance and each door has two large panels over two smaller panels. The panels are recessed and surrounded by decorative mouldings. The doors are ideal for use as room dividers due to their impressive size. The doors are currently painted with a chalk style paint but there are some marks, chips and scratches and purchaser may wish to sand and re-finish the doors to suit. The doors are in good solid condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected of antique items. The doors have some small knocks and chips, mainly to the edges and corners. There are some holes and marks left from hardware removal. We can patch repair larger holes for an extra charge, if required, please contact us for details. The hinges have some surface rust and residue paint but they are all present and in solid condition. The door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. It is unusual to find such large period doors and their very handsome and imposing appearance would make a wonderful feature in a home or business.

In the event of a lockdown we will be operating a click and collect service by arrangement. We can also organise delivery to most UK locations. Please message us in advance of purchase to get a delivery quote.

If you wish to arrange your own courier for collection, we would bubble wrap the item free of charge.  There are a few points we would like to make you aware of in terms of risk.

1)  There is a small amount of risk with transporting any item.

2)  This risk can be minimised by either collecting in person or using a trusted person or company to move the item for you.

3)  We have been using the same trusted family firm of couriers for many years now and are happy with their services, additionally you are covered for loss or damage.

4)  If you decide to appoint your own courier, the contract for delivery is between yourselves and them so if an item is damaged or lost you would go to them for compensation.  We would not be liable for loss or damage in transit.

5)  For cast iron items, no amount of bubble wrap will protect them from smashing if they were allowed to fall over.  Therefore careful handling by the courier is paramount.  I would urge you not to book a parcel carrier, although cheaper.  I would choose a door to door courier who does not use depots to transfer items.

6)  If your delivery address is under 25 miles from us at GU32 3PB we can quote you for delivery in our own van.  Please contact us for a quote.

Please see our other listings for unusual items. Thanks.
