This necklace and earrings are signed: “A. SCH” "NORWAY STERLING 925S" on the back. This is the mark for jewellery designer and maker Albert Scharning from Oslo, Norway, circa 1930. It is a pretty overlapping design with white guilloche enamel stylized leaves. I personally think they remind me of ship sails.

Established his company in 1900, largely as an agency representing traditional Norwegian jewellery. In 1950 his son Per Scharning took over and started a separate workshop, growing the production of silver and enamel jewellery. It closed in 1980.
