These books etc. come from my father-in-law's estate. We have an entire weaving and yarn shop inventory to sell that was filled to the brim.
This book was found in a locked glass bookcase in my
father-in-law's yarn shop. We are calling this listing LIKE NEW because while the book itself is MINT, the dust jacket is messed up and has beyond normal wear and tear. Actual front and back cover have no
damage. The spine is
unbroken. No marks or highlighting in text except for a
signature in pencil on the front inside page. Cover lies flat. Some
color photographs. Many stunning black and white photos. Illustrated, collectible, 1st
edition.
Please note: This book has stunning, and we mean stunning, pictures on thick glossy pages. Flipping through again, I thought, some of these would make beautiful art prints. Truly beautiful artwork.
The book itself is in excellent condition. The only things really wrong is page 7/8 was bent at the bottom corner at one time and there is an double indent on the right side of the page, that doesn't pierce the pages, starting at the 1st inside page and going in a couple of pages, getting lighter all the time. Like something fell on it. Think 2 pronged fork but blunted, so heavier. Again, nothing wrong with the pages, just you can see it on the first page. Barely shows in normal light.
NOTE: as we are going through and updating/correcting these listings, we have no idea what the above means. Obviously, we saw something at one time. We see nothing this time (buy my eyes are getting worse). Barely shows in normal light might mean I can no longer see it. Sorry!
Please consider tossing the dust jacket.
Shipping – All books are shipped on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday on the first day possible after payment is received around 8 to 9 AM. They are shipped by Media Mail in heavy brown paper, similar to a grocery paper bag. All wrapping and shipping materials are recycled from the cardboard to bubble wrap to 50 year old envelopes. Our packages are ugly, but are very carefully wrapped to arrive safely. We always refund shipping credit if you buy multiple items. Free local pick up. We refund your shipping charges!
