The Halfords Advanced 30 Piece Metric Vortex Socket Set 1/4" 3/8" has a ratchet handle, which quickly converts to a conventional 1/4" or 3/8" locking / quick release ratchet for standard sockets by using the two included adaptors. The ultra thin Vortex hollow socket and extension design eliminates the depth restrictions encountered when using conventional sockets. With Vortex sockets thin wall design the slim ratchet handle reduces overall height by as much as 50%, width by 20% & increase the torque strength by as much as 40%. With interchangeable adaptors the ratchet is both a 1/4" and 3/8" drive standard ratchet & allows you to use the sockets you already have. The adaptors also come with a quick release button.
