CRANK ARM TOOL PRELOAD TOOL TENSION INSTALL REMOVAL SHIMANO HOLLOWTECH 2 II TL-FC16

Shimano compatible tool used to remove, install & pre-load crank arm adjustment caps. Not for removing seized or tight cranks.

Typically on Hollowtech II systems.

Unit engages the 8 internal splines of the crank arm adjustment cap.

The serated edge grip offers the ability to use by hand AND the addition of a 6 mm hex key hole allows an allen key to be used for ease  - unlike poorer functioning alternatives.

Fits both shallow caps and has the 10mm deeper spline set for both types of caps (see pictures illustrated) unlike poorer functioning alternatives.
