I have owned this for many years as part of collection of Napoleon Bonaparte items. Many items in my collection came from a gentleman's estate. He had collected things for years as I have.
This is a oil painting on copper see photo out of the frame. The back of the painting shows the copper which is shinny so I don't know the age since it hasn't oxidized but it was inside the frame. I know the enameled frame is from the early 20th century. The painting is signed illegibly. The frame is in good condition. It does have a line in the enamel at the one o'clock position. It's not a crack since you can't feel it from the front. The frame measures an impressive 8 1/8" tall and 5 5/8". Please ask any questions you might have.
