I offer you an egg-sand mixture of the fairy shrimp Branchinella Thailandensis Sanoamuangan.

These Thai fairy crabs can reach a considerable size of 3 cm.

They are great to watch swimming in a glass or vase. They literally float through the glass. With their very large eyes, they cast a magical spell over you.

They have a protein content of approx. 70%. This also makes them suitable for feeding fish.

Of course they also lay eggs. Triops bury their eggs. Fairy shrimps, however, simply drop their eggs after approx. 2 weeks.  At the end of their life (approx. 2 months) simply dry the substrate. Then the new life cycle of the fairy shrimp can begin.

I use stagnant tap water or distilled (fish-friendly) water for the preparation. 
Temperatures between 23 and 28 degrees are best.

A small lamp over the transparent container and within 2 to 10 days the little fairies will hatch. Or you can place them directly on the windowsill. But please not in direct sunlight.

Spirulina (algae powder) powder is used for feeding. Feed a little spirulina powder dissolved in water every day.
