Unique 1920s era Frosted Glass HAIR RECEIVER Art Deco Design, Small Chip

Interesting piece from the 1920-30s era, based on the art deco design.

This appears to be a hair receiver, a very common item on many women's vanity tables back in the late 1800s, and early 1900s.  Most hair receivers were two pieces - a bowl and a top lid that had a hole in it.  This one is a one piece design.

It's got a geometric design, with the glass being polished on the design portion, while the background is frosted or satinized (unpolished). Quite unique!

It is unmarked, but I think it's most likely German or Czech in origin. It measures 4.625" wide, and 2" tall. The only flaw to report is a small chip on the outside edge of the piece, which is pretty much unnoticeable, due to the cut pattern running off the edges already.  You notice the chip only when running your fingers over the glass.

If you happen to know who made this or any other details regarding this piece - please message me - I'd love to know!
