Description

This rare Prague Museum Judaica catalog was printed by the Czech Museum in 1948in Prague, then still under Communist rule. The catalog details the story behind the collection, ie though started before the Nazi's, the Museum became the focal for the Nazi's "Museum of an extinct race" which they had hoped to have after their destruction G-d forbid of the Jewish people under their rule.
Book contains 79 pages of which 48 are black and white photo's of the various Judaica artifacts which are in the Museum. There were about 200,000 !! pieces of Judaica at the end of WW2, a small amount of which is catalogued here. For every one of the 48 pictures of Judaica there's a description in English. VERY rare and a must for any serious Judaica collector.
