Here is a nice three stone design ladies ring with an oval natural peridot and two natural diamonds. The peridot measures 9.0 x 6.8 mm with an actual weight of 1.60 carats. This gem is a beautiful, strongly yellowish green color and is eye clean with good overall cut. It is a nice, well-cut gem, but there is some very minor "paper wear" visible only under strong magnification on the stone; insignificant nicks from being in a parcel paper with other gems. This is almost always the case with Peridots.
Peridot is the birthstone for August, but this ring is a joy to own and wear regardless of your birth month! In fact, whenever someone in our store would mention that they didn't like their August birthstone, I loved to show them an attractive peridot like this...they would always reply something like, "well, now; THIS one's nice!"
The peridot is flanked by two round, full brilliant cut, natural and unenhanced diamonds. The diamonds average 1.8 mm in diameter with a combined actual weight of 0.05 carat. These diamonds are graded at H/I color and I-1/I-2 clarity with good overall cut. They provide a nice, sparkly accent to the center peridot. The peridot and the diamonds are all 100% genuine, natural, untreated, and unenhanced.
The mounting is by the well-respected New York manufacturer Overnight Mountings, style number 80319-9x7. It is solid 10 karat white gold, currently finger size 5.75 and easily sizable by any competent jeweler.
