Tommi Parzinger for Dorlyn Silversmiths Polished Brass Silent Butler

This listing is for a Tommi Parzinger for Dorlyn Silversmiths Polished Brass Silent Butler. Circa 1950s. This piece has a flip up attached lid and is made of solid brass. It is hallmarked on the back along with it’s original “solid brass” sticker as shown in the pictures. This elegant brass box was originally used to pick up crumbs at the dinner table. It can also be used for storage of small items. It measures 1.5 inches tall by 8 inches in diameter by 13.5 inches long including the handle.

Condition: No dings, dents. there is however a three-quarter inch gentle split on the on the lower portion see photo. An easy fix. There are light surface scratches to the brass finish from age and use. The hinges on the lid work well and do not have any damage .I have not polished this box.
