Offered here is this Vintage Metlox Covered Tea Kettle, in the Red Rooster Red. It is the poppytrail pattern called Red Rooster Red, but has no rooster on it and is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There is some slight discoloration and fading to the glaze around the top rim where the lid fits onto the kettle. The kettle has a lid and is equipped with a handle as well. The kettle is a little dusty and will need to be washed before use. It also has some tape remnant from the lid being taped onto the kettle to prevent them from being separated during packing. It is 7.5” tall at the top of the handle, 4” tall at the rim, 4” deep, 7” in diameter at the top, 10” including the spout, and 4.5” in diameter at the base ring. It is a very nice, very collectible Metlox vintage serving piece that will be a must have addition to any vintage Metlox collection.
