Rare THEODORE ALEXANDER Hermes Mercury Wall Plaque Brass Greek God
This listing is for a wall plaque designed by Theodore Alexander. The plaque is of the ancient Greek god of commerce, merchants and travelers Hermes (Mercury). He is one of the Olympic gods with wings on his helmet. This is a rare piece and was purchased in 1998. The god is done in brass relief, framed in a heavy wood frame. There are a couple of minor surface scratches on the frame, see photos. Still has the original Tag. Frame is 11 inches in diameter and art piece is 6 ½ inch in diameter.
