READ **** I can not guarantee the paint and finish. You will probably need to provide those. The paint says "acrylic paint" on the pack and it's fairly solid. Initially I thought it was tempura powder...but it was acrylic. The finish is decoupage and easy to find.

Everything is included - box, backing board, glue, coloured design on 10 mono, wool needlepoint yarn, needle, braids, hinge and complete illustrated instructions. The instructions are written very well / great detail. It's a great project for a middle schooler to try!
