From my own personal collection of the original David Yurman Sculpted Locket Pendant. The piece is sterling silver, and 18k gold at the top/front of the hinged clasp. The clasp opens and shuts completely closed and securely. I paired it with the DY wheat chain. This is a lovely statement piece. The interior sterling ovals pop out for photos or very small trinkets to be placed inside. There is an oval clear photo protector on each side of the pendant as well.
