This hand painted bowl features three windows with detailed paintings of three different fish. The ground in between the windows is a hand painted raised enamel bubble motif that creates pattern and texture. Also, there is a circular hand painted flower pattern on the bottom inside of the bowl. The bowl is 2 3/4” tall with a 5 1/4” diameter top rim. It weighs 7.7 ounces. Created in the Meiji period, late 19th century.
