Plastic plugs are made of injection-molded plastic and are designed for sealing profiles. The end caps are made of an outer part that protrudes out of the profile and an inner part (the so-called core) that is hammered into the center of the profile. The frosted structure on the upper part of the cap gives it an aesthetically pleasing appearance. Plastic stoppers have a rough surface to prevent scratches in collective packaging. The lower part of the lid consists of a core and protruding "sheets". When the end caps are hammered in, the lamellae are adjusted to the thickness of the profile walls.

The material from which the plug is made is polyethylene/plastic - a material with universal application possibilities. Polyethylene is characterized by low abrasion resistance while maintaining resistance to environmental stress corrosion, high dimensional stability even at low temperatures, very good chemical resistance and low water absorption. It is resistant to changing weather conditions and UV radiation. It also has good electrical insulating properties. Polyethylene is a completely physiologically inert material and therefore fully approved for food contact.
