Description
Series 3: Incense - a luxurious collection of five fragrances combined with notes of mysterious incense. It was created by perfumers of the Japanese fashion house Comme des Garsons in 2002.
Ouarzazate fragrance was developed by British perfumer Mark Buxton. He was inspired to create an amazing composition by Moroccan culture, an integral part of which is incense. In the Middle Ages, the city of Ouarzazate in the south of Morocco was a major crossing point on the way of traders from Africa to Europe and the countries of the Arabian Peninsula. More than 3,000 tons of incense were transported annually through Ouarzazate. Today, the use of incense in Morocco is more than a religious ritual, it is an integral part of the modern everyday life of every person.
At the heart of the Ouarzazate composition are mysterious notes of smoky incense, emphasized by invigorating herbal accords of clary sage and green tea extract in combination with a spicy pepper mixture. The composition is completed by soft woody chords with a light vanilla shade.
The gentle yet captivating spirit of Ouarzazate perfume is sure to appeal to men and women who appreciate truly luxurious, memorable scents.
