For your inspection is this vintage Power Transformer, rated approximately 700V CT @ 70 mA plus 6.3V @ 2A for tube filaments. Primary is 117 VAC, 50-60 Hz.

This would be good for a vacuum tube QRP transmitter or low power audio amplifier or preamp.

There is no 5V winding so this is intended for solid state rectifiers and capacitive input filter.

This is an OEM unit. The only markings are 'TR-166' and '606901' for which my research came up empty.

I measured 375V on either side of the center tap for the high voltage and 7V on the filament winding with no loads attached and 122V on the primary.

Size is 3-1/8 x 2-1/2 x 2-7/8 inches (HWD) and the weight is 2-3/4 lbs. The mounting centers are 2 inches each way.

Judging from the voltage measurements,  dimensions and weight it is probably similar to the specs for the STANCOR PC8438.

All leads are the factory supplied length. They have been cut and stripped for installation in a specific device. The shortest are the primary leads: one is 2 inches and the other is 3 inches.  The wire insulation is still flexible.

Unused, made in USA. Surface rust on some laminations as the photos show.
