Philips Comparative Wall Atlas
South America - 1967
Illustrating South America along with the Galapagos and Falkland Islands. This example dates from 1967, printed by George Philips and Son of London for use in learning establishments.
The map still has the original wood attached to top and bottom and is overall in good shape despite having slight discolouring and creasing due to being rolled up and stored when not in use. Produced over seventy years ago with no particular intention to preserve it, this is in remarkably good vintage condition and would make a striking statement in any room.
